A few of you asked me for the recipe for Cheesy Bread (as pictured with the Turkey Chowder). Not only is this really quick and simple, it’s also a huge hit. There’s never a piece left when I make this. My son could probably eat the entire thing himself, if the rest of us didn’t elbow him away from the plate.
All you need is:
one loaf French or Italian bread
2-3 cups cheese (I use a mix of cheddar and Parmesan)
garlic powder, salt and pepper
Just mix the cheese(s) with enough mayo to hold it together. Season with a little garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cut the bread in half the long way and spread the cheese mixture evenly over both halves. Broil until brown and bubbly. Enjoy!
