Oh, The Weather Outside is … Delightful!
We’re snowed in. Really and truly. We don’t have feet and feet of snow, but we have plenty enough that we can’t make it up our driveway. So today, I decided very spontaneously to make our Thanksgiving dinner. I had every last thing thawed and ready to go, but just hadn’t quite planned on which day I’d put it all together. We’re heading to Dave’s parents’ house for the real dinner on Thursday (if we can get out, that is), so ours was extra. And today was the perfect day to make it. My son is about to become a first-time father … to a boy, whom they have named…

There it is … the first (homemade) eggnog latte of the season. And today was the absolute perfect day for it. The air was a bit chilly when I stepped out on the front porch to take a walk this afternoon, but the sun peeked so invitingly through the giant maple trees in our yard that I couldn’t help but go back in for the camera.
