Today I planted blueberry bushes … weeded kale … found a red shovel (the makings of a potting shed craft) in a pile of thrift store junk… laughed over a plate of Spaghetti Factory browned-butter myzithra … and said good-bye to a friend I don’t see enough. This life is a heart-tugging balance of sweet and bitter; of “hello” and “see you soon;” of “what is” and “what could be.” I count myself to be blessed and never-bored.

What a lovely post! You had me at “weeded kale” because I’ve discovered a new love for kale and am attempting to grow some myself, but it was a nice surprise to see your thoughts on living a blessed life.

Thank you for leaving a comment, Salinya! Nice to meet a fellow kale-appreciator. 🙂 Your blog is beautiful, by the way!
