I absolutely love, love, LOVE what I’m doing. I’m pretty sure I’ve said that twenty times this week, as everyone I run into asks me the same question, “How do you like real estate?”
What’s not to love? I’m in an office with the most thoughtful, generous people you could imagine (and all of them agents with their own businesses, but you would never know that by their willingness to share advice or marketing tips or encouragement). It’s a happy bunch of people who genuinely like each other, which makes it easy to walk through the doors in the morning, and hard to walk out at the end of the day. And I have a patient, kind-hearted managing broker who meant it when he told me, “I’m available to you 24/7.” I have tested him on that, and he really is. Plus, I’ve never seen anything but a smile on his face. Who doesn’t love that in a manager?
If all I ever did was stay inside those four walls all day, I still think I’d love this new adventure … but it gets better. Clients! There’s nothing better than meeting people and knowing right away you’re going to be able to help them. Whether you’re selling a home or buying one, it’s likely the biggest financial transaction you’ll make, and I am honored to be a part of that.
As if two blogs weren’t enough, I have just launched a third — this time with Windermere Real Estate. North Sound Living has all the features you want in a real estate blog: listing information on featured properties, a search tool to check on a specific MLS number or more general parameters, buying and selling tips, and a financial calculator to help you determine a monthly mortgage payment. But I’m also blogging on this site. In addition to information on market trends and real estate tips, I want to highlight Snohomish and north King counties — where we eat, where we play; favored nooks and crannies; day trips; family events. I’m hoping that visitors to North Sound Living will grow to love our little spot on the globe as much as I do.
If you drop by the new site, please say hello in a comment so I know you’ve been there!
