I just got word of a great ministry opportunity … but it’s coming up quickly. We’ve been offered a chance to make blankets for all the babies that were born during the deployment of three ships from Naval Station Everett. The sailors are coming home at the end of the month, and we’ll be giving blankets to the families with new babies at the Welcome Home ceremony.
If you sew, knit or crochet — and would like to help — we need 45″ x 45″ baby blankets. They can be quilted, crocheted, knitted, or sewn from fleece, flannel, silk … anything baby-worthy. You can even buy blankets if you don’t sew but want to help.
Here’s the thing: we need the blankets by March 15th. The group making these needs 110 but only has 15 made so far, so they’ve still got a long way to go.
Want to help? Message me on Facebook or leave a comment here.
Thanks so much!
